I am glad you write Gunnerkrigg Court, it is such a beatiful thing to read. Question: How much in advance do you plan the storylines? Have you planned through to where you see an ending?

I just have a general idea of the story as a whole. As events draw nearer I have a clearer view of them and plan them as I need to. I do know how the whole thing will end, and the series of events that will lead up to the ending.

If you die, would we ever get to see the ending of Gunnerkrigg? Or do you have some sort of back-up plan, like a will or computer literate companion?

If I die the comic dies with me. Whatever pages I'd queued up at the time would update normally (hopefully for a few months), and the comic should remain online until my hosting ran out.

Will there after this chapter come a new treatise, because it is the ending of the school-year?

Since her confrontation with Annie in chapter 19 I've been wondering; has Zimmy ever considered ending her own life? :(

Many times

Thinking back, I recall there used to be narration by Annie in the earlier chapters, ending around Red Returns, I think. Why'd you eventually cut it out of the story?

I'll use it when it's needed.

Is there a chapter in the future that you will be willing to redo entire pages to get just perfect? Like the ending, maybe?

Are you ever worried that some of the clues you have already shown are so important that they can reveal big parts of the ending before you want it? Rey's preserved body feels that way. Like either his defining moment or his fate have been revealed.

Well you should hint at things that will happen later. Having things happen for no reason is not very good.

What'd you think of Perdido Street Station? I think the dude's got some serious chops when it comes to writing fantasy.

I think it was a very big book to get through just for a dumb ass ending.

You say you have an ending planned for the comic, but does it seek to actually resolve some sort of big issue, or is it simply a tying of loose ends, so that the mysteries are explained but no big change occurs?

Give me a minute to type up the ending to the comic and I'll email it to you.

Have you actually scripted the ending, or do you have it locked up inside your head?

It's not scripted in any fashion. Just planned out in my head.
